About the Team
The DoorDash Enterprise Retail team manages the strategic vision, acquisition, and development of the largest retail partnerships in North America. This team sits within the New Verticals Business Development organization. We support our merchant’s broader e-commerce strategy, helping them find new ways to acquire, engage with and retain customers. We also love to help our partners solve their operational issues at the lowest level of detail; no job is too big or too small.
About the Role
The Retail Partnerships Associate Manager will help steer the company's effort to adopt and partner with retailers and CPGs at all levels of the sector. eCommerce is expanding, and DoorDash is making meaningful strides to become a leader in this sector. You will report to a Sr. Manager or Manager, Retail Partnerships. We expect this role to be flexible in terms of time spent remote, in-office, and traveling to visit merchant partners.

- Drive and lead on strategic growth initiatives for your Mx portfolio
- Work with internal cross-functional teams to ensure we’re building a best-in-class experience for merchants, dashers & customers
- Project manage new partner launches
- Negotiate commercial agreements and navigate complex deal structures
- Design marketing and promotional campaigns for a variety of retail categories and customer cohorts
- Gather insights on consumer behavior and shopping patterns to optimize Retail growth
- Lead special projects to drive operational efficiency for your partners

Qualifications:
- 6+ years of account management, consulting, banking, or strategic partnerships in retail, technology or high growth / early stage startups
- Bachelor's degree required
- Business Development and/or Partnerships experience
- Experience with Analytics and Presentation tools
- Proficiency in analytics/ visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma, SQL) & AI tools
