About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Information Security Senior Manager.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate complexity and risk
  • Maintain a broad awareness of the state of information security companywide
  • Identify and recommend complex and innovative solutions addressing functions including vulnerability detection, threat data, network intrusion and development, and implementation of vulnerability mitigation strategies
  • Identify security risks and solutions for networks and virtual private network applications, security tools, public key infrastructures, authentication and directory services, and access management services
  • Identify, formulate, implement information security and Line of Business management
  • Determine appropriate strategy for information security policy, standards and procedures for systems, applications and tools
  • Set guidelines for compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Advise more experienced management on issues with high, critical impact
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Interface with Information Security Industry Leaders, Financial industry Leaders, Analysts and Regulators
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Information Security Analysis
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong risk-management mindset with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and diverse business user groups.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional teams (Information Security, Audit, Engineering, Operations, and Risk/Compliance) to deliver secure outcomes.
  • Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and structured problem-solving skills; able to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Deep knowledge of IAM/PAM controls and tooling (e.g., joiner-mover-leaver, MFA, RBAC/ABAC, privileged access, access reviews, segregation of duties).
  • Ability to execute operational initiatives end-to-end: intake, prioritization, implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Prior leadership experience in a large global delivery environment (preferably banking/financial services), with exposure to regulatory and audit expectations.
  • Experience supporting internal/external audits: evidence collection, control testing support, issue remediation, and closure management.
  • Operational security experience managing access-related incidents and escalations, with a focus on containment, recovery, and prevention.
  • Strong operational rigor with KPI/SLA management, reporting, and continuous improvement (automation, reduction of manual touchpoints, error-rate reduction).


Job Expectations:

  • This role is responsible for co-leading IAM Operations/Execution function in India, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant access services.
  • Ensure timely and accurate access provisioning/de-provisioning (JML) in line with SLAs, least-privilege principles, and segregation-of-duties requirements.
  • Identify and drive improvements to processes, controls, and tooling to reduce risk, increase automation, and improve user experience.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to deliver new IAM capabilities (e.g., MFA, SSO, access governance, PAM) and to modernize existing platforms.
  • Own IAM operational changes in production, following change management, risk assessment, and validation to ensure no control regressions.
  • Coordinate with Incident Management and Information Security teams on major incidents related to identity, authentication, authorization, and privileged access.
  • Drive IAM remediation programs and ensure timely delivery with clear risk acceptance/escalation paths.
  • Hands-on familiarity with IAM technologies such as CyberArk, SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or similar platforms
  • Drive periodic access reviews/certifications, privileged access governance, break-glass controls, and monitoring of control exceptions.
  • Establish operational metrics and reporting (SLA adherence, backlog, failure rates, control exceptions) and drive continuous service improvement.
  • Ensure procedures are documented and followed (runbooks, standard operating procedures, access request patterns, emergency access), including periodic reviews and updates.
  • Lead and develop a team of managers and analysts (contractors and full-time employees); set goals,
  • Strong understanding of IAM controls and processes
