Job Summary
As a Product Planner within the Worldwide Consumer PC Solution Team, you will be responsible for developing Notebook (NB) product solutions that enhance our consumer product portfolio.
Through insights and customer feedback you will help craft the NB roadmap to deliver new experiences and features.
This will grow our position in the market by ensuring that our NB product lines meet and beat their targets and grow faster than those of our competitors.
This position will be responsible for the roadmap rationalization, strategy partnerships, emerging trends, internal and external metrics and provide guidance and recommendations to influence the roadmap and key initiatives.
Responsibilities

- Customer experience and empathy driven to recognize key insights, define experiences, and recognize features to solve pain points.
- End User and Retailer Customer focused.
- Passion for technology and working knowledge of life cycle for technology products.
- Analyze data from various sources to assess gaps, opportunities and identify solutions to better enhance HP products.
- Lead projects that involve cross-functional coordination to provide integrated solutions.
- Suggest strategy changes internally and with external industrial partners.
- Improve processes affecting their workgroup and interfaces; alignment, development, experience.
- Regularly recommend and report out strategic direction to senior management.
- Team-oriented self-starter able to work with different personalities and professional styles.
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Act as an HP Brand Ambassador and reinforce the brand at every step of product development and delivery.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Highly knowledgeable of product/solution w/ PC business & market senses
- College degree in Marketing/Business/Technical.
- Typically has 10+years of work experience in product planning/product management.
- Self starter in a dynamic industry
