About The Role:

This is a summer internship position (dates can be adjusted based on your availability).

You will join a big data team responsible for building and running data-driven and AI-powered applications that process large volumes of data in both batch and real-time environments.

Our team works with a polyglot tech stack (primarily Java, Kotlin, and Python) and leverages cloud technologies to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience with modern data processing, MLOps, and integration of machine learning models into customer-facing products.

During the internship, you will:

  • Work alongside experienced developers and contribute to an existing production codebase

  • Learn how to process large datasets in both batch and real-time pipelines

  • Collaborate on data and machine learning/AI pipelines

  • Gain experience with monitoring data pipelines and debugging live applications

  • Work with cloud technologies, primarily Google Cloud

About you:

  • You are currently studying an IT-related university program or have relevant practical experience alongside your studies

  • You have a basic understanding of programming (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Python or similar)

  • You are eager to learn and open to working with new technologies and tools

  • You are not afraid to ask questions and seek help when needed

  • You take ownership of your work and responsibilities

  • You are a team player and comfortable working in a collaborative environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience with any cloud platform

  • Interest in Big Data and data processing

  • Experience with backend development

  • Familiarity with tools such as Git, Docker, TeamCity, Jira, or Confluence

 

What’s next:

The interview process consists of two stages. First, you will have a one-hour interview with the hiring manager and a member of the team. This will be followed by a 30-minute interview with the Engineering Director.
