ABOUT OUR TEAM:

Converse is a place to explore potential, break barriers, and push the edges of what can be. The company looks for people who can grow, think, dream, and create. Its culture thrives by embracing diversity and rewarding imagination. The brand seeks achievers, leaders, and visionaries. At Converse it’s about each person bringing their skills and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving world to make things better as a team.

The Product Creation team operates with a one-team mentality across a range of specialties—Trend and Expressions, Footwear Design, Product Management, Product Development, and Business Operations. Together, they are driven to deliver the best possible products for Converse consumers while advancing the independent spirit of youth.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Line Management with deep footwear credibility and a sharp product instinct. This person brings taste, confidence, and business acumen to every decision, and knows how to turn cultural insight into world-class footwear. They are comfortable leading through influence, navigating complexity, and setting a clear product vision while staying agile as priorities evolve.

This role demands someone who obsesses over craft, understands the footwear creation process end-to-end, and can brief and line plan with precision. They thrive in ambiguity, move with urgency, and build trust across disciplines and with external partners. Just as important, they bring a genuine connection to sport, culture, and community—and the energy to travel, show up, and lead in the moments that matter most.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The Senior Manager, Jack Purcell Product Line Management will sit within the Global Sportswear Footwear organization, a fast-moving consumer obsessed team at the intersection of culture, product, and brand. This role will be responsible for the multi-year visioning, strategic planning, and execution of the Jack Purcell product roadmap. You’ll lead a focused, high impact line of sportswear footwear, influencing product creation from brief to market. You’ll shape the franchise strategy and define the product scope end-to-end.

  • Own and lead a defined Jack Purcell franchise journey end-to-end
  • Brief and line plan in close partnership with Design, Product Creation, Merchandising, and Brand
  • Serve as the footwear subject matter expert for your sportswear line, aligning teams to the Footwear Creation Process and calendar
  • Partner with Brand Marketing to deliver product tied to key seasonal, sport, and cultural moments
  • Navigate quick-turn, ad‑hoc business needs with clarity and urgency
  • Influence across a highly matrixed global organization while maintaining speed and precision
  • Deliver impactful product presentations to support seasonal sell-in moments

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role sits on the Converse Footwear Extended Leadership Team and reports to the Global VP of Product and Design. You will be responsible for collaborating with Design, Technical Development, Engineering, Merchandising, and Brand teammates to create industry‑leading footwear with compelling, impactful, consumer‑centered stories.

WHAT YOU BRING

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in the footwear industry, with a strong background in product creation, merchandising, or brand marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Merchandising, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training
  • Proven footwear product line management expertise, including briefing, line planning, and calendar leadership
  • Experience working with external collaborators, cultural partners, or talent
  • Open to frequent travel, including occasional short-notice travel
  • Strong style sensibility and Trend foresight
