About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant.


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training or education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics/Law/Legal
  • Experience in Power BI, Tableau and Macro
  • Minimum of 2 years managing business continuity within an global organization
  • Knowledge of technology and business concepts, life cycles and processes
  • Sound verbal and written communication, English proficiency and ability to articulate and present data/reports and/or facilitate meetings

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant in Wealth & Investment Banking (WIM () as part of WIM Resiliency team supporting Business Continuity Planning and Incident Management.  This role will work with other Resiliency Officers and Business Resiliency Coordinators within WIM to provide oversight and guidance to ensure effective implementation and execution of enterprise guidelines, ensuring viable resiliency plans for the business groups supported.

In this role, you will:

  • Update business continuity plans – Post approvals from Business Resiliency Managers and Resiliency Officers
  • Create new business continuity plans/functions/strategies - Post approvals from Business Resiliency Managers and Resiliency Officers
  • Complete annual exercise and maintenance items depending on plan type (Essential vs Deferrable)
  • Work to develop and expand data maintenance automation in both ORS to facilitate execution of maintenance activities and drive efficiency
  • Ensure facilitation of all global resiliency activities occur within business group/enterprise function
  • Respond to management deliverables, i.e., Audit requirements
  • Ensure proper coordination of GDA Transitioned functions and required updates in ORS
  • Ensure required Wells Fargo BCP Certifications are obtained
  • Understand and communicate business incident information at time of incident
  • Understand and adhere to the Enterprise Communications process for incidents
  • Update and Maintain Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
  • Document Recovery Simulation – Functional Exercise
  • Support Plan Walkthroughs
  • Support Record Verification
  • Support Plan Distribution
  • Support RTO/RPO Review
  • Participate in Everbridge Testing (automated call tree)
  • Support in the response respond to EBCP Plan Profiles
  • Complete certification requirements - Annual
  • Participate in training and awareness for Change Control
  • Preemptively monitor and address metrics and key risk indicators –Gap analysis
  • Perform annual plan audits (Quality Reviews)
  • Support the Business Risk and Control Director in aligning all BCP planning, initiatives and goals with organizational goals and infrastructure capabilities.
  • Facilitate and support the execution of the plans at the time of crisis event.
  • Support Business Leadership and the Business Control Leadership with critical components of the plan in order that they can make critical decisions.
  • Provide visibility and report to the Business Leadership and the Business Control Leadership on the critical functions, individuals, and infrastructure within the business plans.
