DuPont is seeking an experienced and inspiring Operations Leader to lead our Towanda, PA manufacturing site—a highly leveraged, critical film‑coating operation within our Packaging & Films business. This is a high‑impact leadership role for someone ready to shape culture, drive operational excellence, and deliver sustainable business results.

As the Operations Leader, you will have full accountability for safety, people, performance, and profitability, leading a team of approximately 50 employees in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You’ll play a pivotal role in translating business strategy into execution, developing talent, and creating a workplace where people are proud of what they do and how they do it.

What You’ll Do

Lead with Purpose & Culture

• Own the unit’s financial performance, applying discipline and rigor to manage margins, costs, productivity, and asset utilization.
• Set and communicate ambitious performance goals that balance safety, quality, delivery, and cost while meeting evolving customer needs.

Build Talent & Teams

• Hire, develop, and retain top talent to meet today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities.
• Foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment where people feel valued and empowered.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition that drives engagement, accountability, and results.

Champion Operational Excellence

• Lead continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, and digital tools to eliminate waste, improve reliability, and strengthen processes.
• Encourage problem‑solving at all levels and remove barriers so teams can do their best work.

Collaborate & Influence

• Partner cross‑functionally with R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS, Finance, Quality, and more to align resources and accelerate value creation.
• Serve as a key representative of DuPont—engaging effectively with customers, community leaders, regulators, and other external stakeholders.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of manufacturing experience across functions such as Operations, Engineering, EHS, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Reliability, Finance, HR, or Continuous Improvement.
• 2+ years of direct people leadership experience, with a proven ability to lead, influence, and inspire teams.
• Demonstrated success applying Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to deliver measurable business results.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) preferred.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.
