We are seeking a versatile UX Architect who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex design challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that empower customers and drive business value through exceptional user experience design. 

In this role, you will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to deliver successful solutions. You will be responsible for mapping a customer’s business problems to scalable and usable applications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user experiences. This position also involves overseeing project-level UX engineering activities, with a focus on both pre-sales and delivery. 

As a UX Architect, you will engage in meaningful dialogue with business and technology decision-makers, working to develop customer business agility and maximize business value through thoughtful UX design. You will collaborate with developers, UX designers, and business leaders to ensure the user experience strategy aligns with overall project goals and timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitates Design Thinking or Envisioning Workshops, guiding teams to brainstorm, ideate, and solve complex design problems collaboratively. 

  • Generates ideation solutions for complex products, synthesizing them into concise solutions that improve product designs. 

  • Creates clarity for team members, influencing prioritization of product backlog and sprint management. 

  • Design seamless, human-centered experiences for applications leveraging Artificial Intelligence, with sensitivity to Human AI Interaction Guidelines and ethical considerations. 

  • Develops functional prototypes to meet specific needs, presents them for feedback, and iterates based on feedback. 

  • Develops and enables front-end design solutions, technical prototypes, and user interface systems (e.g., controls, animation libraries, utilities). 

  • Acts as a liaison between design and engineering, deepening knowledge of engineering fundamentals (e.g., interpreting designs, writing code, working with source control). 

  • Collaborates with Engineering teams to ensure successful design implementation and quality assurance. 

  • Leads design reviews to ensure code quality and creates specs to document validation efforts. 

  • Oversees the versioning of tools and platforms, ensuring their adoption and interoperability across teams. 

  • Ensures the use of the latest codebases and design systems, driving consistency and alignment across the team. 

  • Communicates proactively with leaders, engineers, and feature teams to ensure effective communication through all design and development stages. 

  • Collaborates with cross-disciplinary teams (e.g., creative, program managers, developers, UX research) to define and iterate on new and existing product features. 

  • Mentors team members, provides guidance, and influences stakeholders across various disciplines to promote optimal product designs. 

Key Accountabilities for this Position Include, But Not Limited to  

  • Experience estimating, scoping, and writing statements of work that clearly set customer expectations. 

  • Experience in leading customer workshops, uncovering opportunities, gathering requirements, and reviewing deliverables. 

  • Experience in closely working with Developers using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Figma and other software development environments.  

  • Experience designing AI-powered applications, including familiarity with Human AI Interaction Guidelines. 

  • Experience in designing and prototyping user interfaces within technical constraints while leveraging and maximizing technical features. 

  • Experience with all stages of product development - concept, wireframes, design iterations, production and quality assurance.  

 



Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, and 10+ years of experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security). 

  • OR, Master’s Degree in a related field with equivalent experience. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) in English and Mandarin for specific workrelated interactions or documentation, where required. 

  • Expertise in Product Design, User Interface, User Experience and Human AI interaction: Specialized knowledge in designing user-centric products and interfaces in the world of AI driven applications. 

  • Strong Communication, Observation, and Empathy: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and understand user needs and behaviors. 

  • Cross-Cultural Expertise: Experience working in diverse environments, with a strong understanding of different design perspectives. 

  • Proficiency in Agile Methodologies: Skilled in agile project management and iterative design processes. 

  • Appreciation for Simplicity and Elegance in Design: Influenced by Japanese design principles, focusing on creating relaxed and comfortable user experiences. 

  • Ability to work outside Singapore in regions such as China, South Korea, Taiwan, and Australia, with travel and remote work capability as required. 

  • 5+ years managing multiple projects. 

  • 5+ years of experience leading blended, multidisciplinary teams. 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience estimating, scoping, and writing statements of work that clearly set customer expectations. 

  • Experience leading customer workshops, uncovering opportunities, gathering requirements, and reviewing deliverables.
