Our Legal and Government Affairs team plays a crucial role in shaping and facilitating the company’s growth as we expand globally. We are collaborative, forward-thinking, and deeply integrated into every part of the business — helping to balance innovation, compliance, and risk with speed and precision.

About the Role:

As the Senior Credits and Tax Incentives Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and assisting the team leader to secure and manage government incentive programs that support CoreWeave’s rapid growth in the AI infrastructure and data center industry. You’ll work as part of the team to develop and implement strategies to capture state, local, and international financial incentives, while participating  in  building and maintaining a world-class compliance program. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Identifying potential state and local incentives and assessing their potential economic value to the company.
  • Working closely with the team leader to source, apply for and execute  incentive programs, such as state sales tax exemptions, and personal and real property tax abatements at the local level.
  • Partnering across Finance, Data Center Operations, and People teams to gather required documentation and ensure timely submission of applications.
  • Supporting the team leader in discussions with State and local Government officials to advocate for and advance incentive initiatives.
  • Advising the team leader and operational teams on incentive utilization and compliance.
  • Working with outside counsel and subject matter experts to support the company’s efforts to secure incentives  and reporting.
  • Building frameworks for identifying and capturing incentives in new U.S. and international markets.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of relevant tax experience, with a focus on state incentive programs, including sales and use tax exemptions, and real estate and property tax abatements. Knowledge of data center industry and/ or infrastructure projects a plus.
  • Proven record of success in identifying, securing, and managing government incentives.
  • Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory frameworks governing state and local incentive programs.
  • Experience working in and with teams and complex multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Experience in negotiating effectively with government entities.
  • Experience with commercial and financial deal structures.
  • Proficiency in supporting compliance programs and reporting frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Policy, or related field, or a J.D. degree required.

Preferred:
