THE OPPORTUNITY
Join an exciting, fast-paced and high-profile team as the MSL – Lung Cancer where you will represent the scientific face of the company, engaging in communication with healthcare practitioners to translate the latest scientific and clinical evidence into clinical practice.
This role will be based in the field where you will build strong, trusted peer-level relationships with Thought Leaders, Clinical investigators and Healthcare Decision Makers. You will collaborate externally and internally to identify actionable insights and help shape current and future treatment landscape in Lung Cancer, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To establish and maintain trusted, scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other HCPs, serving as a resource, responding to research, educational and clinical practice needs that support therapeutic and business priorities.
- Communication of clinical and scientific data at peer level, translating the evidence to address clinical needs and drive patients’ outcomes.
- Identify and address medical education needs by providing educational presentations, responding to unsolicited medical information requests and assisting in the development of medical educational activities.
- Develop, maintain and implement KOL Engagement plans
- Partner with investigators on submission and initial assessment of investigator-initiated study concepts, provide scientific and clinical expertise to support clinical trial initiatives in line with Company Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
- Work as part of a broader cross-functional team to align scientific and medical strategies and deliver value to our customers and patients.
What we’re looking for:
- You will have a genuine passion and drive to work within this exciting and dynamic therapeutic area. Your ability to build trusted partnerships, grasp multiple complex disease areas quickly and critically analyse clinical data combined with your exceptional engagement and communication skills will ensure your success in this role.
- You will have a good understanding of clinical research, data analysis, clinical landscape, publications, and well-developed commercial acumen from cross functional collaboration. You will need to be comfortable and experienced in communicating with external stakeholders including global and national experts. This is a field-based role and travel will be required.
ABOUT YOU
- Medical/Pharmacy/Life science qualifications, advanced degree (MD, PhD) required
- Prior experience as an MSL preferred
- Lung, Solid Tumours or Oncology background, with deep scientific and/or clinical knowledge strongly preferred.
