About the Role
As the Account Director for our tech-portfolio, you’ll own the day-to-day client experience for specific brands, nurturing relationships and developing a deep understanding of the client's business. You will act as the client's primary partner and voice within Monks, ensuring we deliver value at every turn. We are looking for someone who is passionate about new technologies and seeking new opportunities to create impactful work.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all Monks work is delivered effectively, managing project aspects on time and on cost.
- Take an active role in resolving complex client concerns and managing escalations professionally.
- Identify opportunities proactively and bring Monks solutions to clients to unlock additional growth.
- Manage specific portions of client revenue by identifying, developing, and converting commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and translate the client voice and priorities into briefs and scopes of work.
- Own required reporting to track client profitability and project delivery, providing strategic insights and recommendations to clients.
- Lead and refine client onboarding processes, ensuring clients maximize service value.
- Drive the collection and application of market and client insights to improve services and inform strategic decisions.
- Mentor and guide more junior team members, potentially taking responsibility for the performance of a small sub-team.
About You
The essentials:
- Client Relationship Ownership: Expertise in client management, with the ability to own the day-to-day client experience for specific brands (usually 1–2).
- Tech Savvy & Process Improvement Driven: A keen enthusiast for technology, especially AI, who stays current with all related developments. Actively uses and continuously seeks to implement new tools and techniques to enhance work processes and efficiency.
- Communication & Negotiation: Comfortable navigating difficult but collaborative conversations both internally and externally with clients.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to proactively identify opportunities, maintain healthy commercials, and own the reporting needed to track client profitability.
- Monks Product & Service Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of the breadth and depth of Monks products and services.
- Project Delivery: Proven ability to ensure projects are delivered on time and on cost.
Not a must, but a plus:
- Experience managing the performance of a small sub-team.
- Deep understanding of specific client ambitions for growth within the relevant industry.
