Chandler Steakhouse Cook - MGM Springfield

The Chandler Steakhouse is seeking an experienced Cook with 2+ years in fine dining to skillfully apply your culinary techniques in crafting exceptional dishes. You will play a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience by maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and presentation, ensuring every meal is memorable. THE STARTING RATE:  $23.05 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Skillfully prepare dishes following recipes and maintaining solid knowledge of food products and techniques.

• Use kitchen equipment safely and restock supplies as needed.

• Properly label and date products for safekeeping and sanitation.

• Maintain attention to detail in plate presentation and menu knowledge.

• Assist kitchen leadership with executing service and preparing base sauces, stocks, and soups.

• Collaborate with the team to meet guest needs and inquiries.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 1+ Years of Prior Experience as a professional Cook in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant is preferred

• Ability to cook steaks to perfect medium temperature and cook meals from scratch in restaurant environment

• Willing and able to work a Part-time schedule consisting of 24-30hrs per week, Friday and Saturdays are a MUST, including weekends and holidays
