Position Summary:
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in Budapest, Hungary. Based at the Shared Service Center, you will provide exceptional customer support to both internal and external customers throughout the lifecycle, including administration, order management, quotations, and inquiry management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer requests and handle Polish customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Handle incoming orders via email and web, manage order processing according to division guidelines, and relay product prices and availability to customers.
- Prepare quotations and efficiently manage customer complaints and tenders as per service level agreements.
- Maintain customer data accurately and prepare daily customer service reports.
- Gain expertise in the Customer Service functions of the ERP system and become proficient in using Customer Relationship Management systems to manage customer interactions.
- Collaborate with international teams in English, assess customer requirements, and direct activities to appropriate departments. Cooperate efficiently with sales, commercial, distribution, and finance teams to fulfill customer requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), service level agreements (SLAs), and departmental training guidelines.
- Follow company policies, operational regulations, and training guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
- Participate actively in initiatives to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
- Seek assignments and projects to meet ambitious business goals.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and use computer systems to maintain high data accuracy.
- Perform other customer service-related duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Polish (min. C1/C2, preferably native) and English (min. B2).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems and multitask under deadlines.
- Self-motivation, passion, and a positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Judgment, tact, and subtlety in dealing with customers.
- Initiative in routine tasks and system issue resolution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- High integrity and compliance in all aspects of the role.
Experience:
- Relevant customer service and order management experience.
- Experience with Oracle or SAP preferred but not required.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not essential; candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.

Working Conditions:
