Location Details: 

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-events or offsites. This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

What you get to do...

Lead the Enterprise Payments & PayFac Platform for GoDaddy

  • Own the payments platform strategy for embedded payment facilitation across online, mobile, and in-person (POS/device) channels
  • Define and implement the vision to accelerate independent software companies (ISVs) integrations with GoDaddy as a payment facilitator — this includes partner scope for sub-merchant payment acceptance and extends to sub-merchant onboarding, KYB/KYC, sub-merchant lifecycle, payouts, reporting, and reconciliation
  • Position GoDaddy’s payments platform competitively for enterprise ISVs evaluating Stripe, Adyen, Finix, or similar providers

Build Best-in-Class Payment Integrations for ISVs

  • Design and evolve payment APIs, SDKs, and integration tools and guides that make it easy for ISVs to enable their sub-merchants to:
  • Onboard their KYC/KYB and be approved to accept payments
  • Accept card payments (online, mobile, POS)
  • Tokenize and store payment methods for recurring payments
  • Enable invoices, pay links, and in-app checkout components for embedded payments
  • Support in-person payments via our POS SDK and app integration
  • Improve integration speed, testing and reliability through better sandbox tools, end-to-end guides and examples, and developer tooling
  • Improve reporting and transparency to ISVs for their sub merchant activities, costs, and exceptions to increase self-serve for platform integrators

Enable Verticalized & Omnichannel Payments

  • Develop payment facilitation capabilities tailored to ISVs, particularly vertical SaaS integrators, including:
  • Multi-location and multi-entity payouts reporting for larger scale ISV sub-merchant
  • Improve payments capabilities, attribution and reporting to support vertical needs
  • Define the vertical segment targets and the must-haves for payments to drastically improve segment winnability for desired segments. For example: L2/L3 commercial card data, specialized payment support for Fleet Cards or Healthcare, or specialized payment flows such as split funding and reserve funds
  • ISV commissions and revenue share transparency and accountability
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, and FinOps teams to ensure accurate settlement, strong fraud controls, and regulatory compliance across Payment Facilitation flows

Be the Voice of the Enterprise Integrator

  • Work directly with enterprise ISVs to understand their acceptance, acquiring, and platform needs and translate real-world integration feedback into a clear and cogently prioritized strategy for platform investments
  • Support enterprise evaluation cycles alongside Business Development and Solutions Engineering

Define the Enterprise Integration & Partner Platform Strategy

  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for GoDaddy Commerceʼs headless commerce APIs and partner SDKs that enable external software platforms to embed payments and commerce workflows
  • Develop a clear vision for who integrates with us, why, and how — prioritizing integrations that deliver high merchant and partner value aligned to our platform core competencies
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of partner evaluation criteria, technical architecture, and enterprise buyer needs — positioning GoDaddy Commerce competitively alongside platforms like Stripe, Adyen, and Finix

Champion Enterprise & ISV Partner Workflows

  • Serve as the voice of enterprise software partners — from technical architects to product leaders — ensuring our APIs, document
