THE JOB:

Step into the spotlight as a Master Pastry Cook for MGM’s Joel Robuchon, where every dessert is a masterpiece and every moment is an opportunity to impress. You’ll blend precision, creativity, and passion to craft unforgettable flavors while delivering warm, exceptional service. By anticipating guest desires and going beyond expectations, you’ll create WOW experiences that linger long after the last bite.

THE STARTING RATE: $24.2763 Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Follow method of food preparation, baking method and techniques, properly prepare and serve dessert as instructed by the  Chef

• Ensure food is stored and kept at proper holding temperature

• List preparations that need to be completed daily and always be present during hours of service

• Monitor consistency of quality, presentation and flavor of each dish

• Assemble recipes without any assistance

• Communicate and assist management and service staff in order to fulfill and address any challenges or needs requested by  guests and employees

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of work area, utensils and equipment

• Delegate tasks to other pastry job classifications as instructed by chef

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

• 2+ years of prior relevant experience working in a high-quality pastry department

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
