Job Description

Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.

Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.

ŌURA is seeking a Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising to lead the end-to-end execution of our retail display and fixture programs across the Americas region. This role is responsible for ensuring a premium, cohesive, and on-brand retail experience across all points of sale — including key partners such as Best Buy, Target, Costco, Walmart, and emerging regional and specialty accounts.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on — a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional project management skills, deep experience with large-scale retail fixture programs, and a proven ability to collaborate across internal teams and external vendors.

Preferred location is San Francisco or New York, remote candidates will be considered.

What You Will Do:

Visual Merchandising Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of Oura’s visual merchandising strategy across all retail partners in the Americas.
  • Ensure a consistent, premium brand presentation across all in-store touchpoints — from permanent fixtures to seasonal and promotional displays.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of display programs: design, prototyping, production, distribution, installation, and maintenance.
  • Partner with Retail Channel Marketing, Brand, Product Marketing and Creative teams to translate marketing and brand objectives into physical retail experiences.

Retail Fixture Development & Program Management

  • Collaborate with internal design team and external partners from concept through installation, ensuring designs meet cost, quality, and sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate closely with third-party fabricators, logistics partners, and third party installation teams to deliver best-in-class retail displays on time and within budget.
  • Establish and maintain robust processes for quality control, compliance, and fixture maintenance across all retail environments.
  • Manage fixture rollout calendars, tracking progress, resolving issues, and communicating updates to key stakeholders.

Budget Management & Operations

  • Own and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets related to visual merchandising and fixture programs.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates, manage purchase orders, SOWs and ensure fiscal discipline throughout all project stages.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency, and scalability in the fixture development and deployment process.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Retail Channel Marketing, Sales, Creative, Brand, and Operations teams to ensure retail environments align with business objectives and support key product launches.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to align visual merchandising standards and share best practices across regions.
  • Support retail readiness for new product launches, ensuring all displays, fixtures, and materials are installed and live at retail on time.

Retail Compliance & Excellence

  • Ensure fixture and brand compliance across all retailers, maintaining the integrity of the Oura brand experience at every location.
  • Lead periodic in-store audits and partner with retailers or field teams to monitor compliance and execution quality.
  • Maintain documentation and a centralized repository for visual merchandising guidelines, standards, and assets.
