As a Senior Data Scientist you will be working on a Medicare Analytics team that will help make business decisions and, you will play a critical role in supporting our Aetna members and our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Model Development: Develop and implement advanced machine learning models for forecasting and predictive analytics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and standardizing forecasting applications using time series techniques to provide forward-looking insights to our members, to improve Member experience
  • ML-Ops: Develop, deploy and maintain machine learning models in production, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business analysts, to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and apply them to improve existing processes and models.
  • Reporting: Create and present detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant Data Science experience
  • 3+ years' experience programming in Python
  • 3+ years' experience programming in SQL
  • 2+ year experience working with Cloud Technology (GCP, AWS or Azure)
  • 1+ year experience deploying models in production


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Google Cloud/BigQuery
  • 2 plus years of healthcare or health insurance experience
  • Strong problem-solving experience with a history of making business impact
  • Knowledge of Time Series forecasting techniques, and Machine learning  methods including classics like SARIMA, exponential smoothing, time series regressions, and machine learning methods like LSTM, XGBoost, etc


Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $222,480.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
