The Role
As a Marketing Lead, you will:
- Create a per-festival marketing & channel strategy based on overall festival strategy and additional guidance from Business Leader, Executive Producer, and Director of Festivals;
- Oversee and coordinate the channel management and marketing delivery of all channels included in a festival marketing plan, including but not limited to social media, websites, out-of-home, email marketing, and marketing collaborations with external organizations, institutions, game developers, brands and partners;
- Create and manage project management tools for the delivery of festival marketing, including but not limited to the marketing calendar, social media calendar, media services request sheet;
- Fulfill delivery through the management of marketing staff, contractors, and agencies, and budget allocated to staffing & execution;
- Oversee & staff on-site media services including photography, videography, and archive management of assets.
Requirements
- 7+ years of marketing role experience within consumer entertainment events, gaming, and/or esports
- Proven track record of successful campaigns directly tried to financial bottom line performance
- Comfortable in analyzing data and trends across key metrics such as awareness, conversion, retention, and ROI
- Experience with seven-figure budgets, using data to optimize campaigns and justify spend
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across general marketing, performance marketing, content, PR & media production
- Ability to work closely with partners, publishers, and internal sales teams to create marketing value. Experience activating brand partnerships in authentic ways
