Why This Role Matters:

We are seeking a highly skilled and outcome-driven Business Operations Specialist to support our Engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving and supporting operational excellence, enabling team efficiency, and supporting key strategic initiatives. You will work cross-functionally to ensure the team runs smoothly, scales effectively, and delivers against its goals.

Your key responsibilities:

  • OKR Support & Insights: Gather and analyze data to support OKR (Objectives & Key Results) reviews, identifying trends and delivering actionable insights.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive materials that provide clear visibility into team performance, progress, and strategic alignment.
  • KPI Tracking: Monitor and track key performance indicators to assess the operational health of the Engineering organization.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and lead initiatives to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Team Scaling & Onboarding: Support the team’s growth by managing aspects of hiring, onboarding processes, and development of documentation and training materials.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Coordinate compliance requirements and support internal/external audit readiness.
  • Project Support: Assist in the delivery and reporting of key engineering projects, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Operations, business analysis, or related roles
  • An analytical mindset; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  • Obsessive attention to detail. At a glance, you  know that the “numbers don’t make sense”.
  • Handle many initiatives at one time, prioritizing them appropriately, and being organized enough to handle lots of details.
  • Strong emotional intelligence. Be able to read the room and know how to work with a group to get the best out of each other.
  • Clear, concise communicator with the ability to identify actionable insights.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and eager to take initiative.
  • Positive, team-first mindset with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent English skills. 
  • Experience in Agile or SaaS environments would be beneficial.
