Are you passionate about laboratory work and motivated by contributing to impactful diagnostic solutions? We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team (Advanced Reagent & Technology Testing).

In this role, you will play a key part in advanced technology development. Your work will include immunohistochemical (IHC) staining and in situ hybridization (ISH) techniques such as FISH and CISH, testing on automated platforms, and result evaluation, including tissue slide evaluation for both ISH and IHC assays and a variety of related laboratory tasks that support the development of future diagnostic solutions.

The position requires strong technical skills as well as an interest in working in a dynamic development setting where tasks, methods, and protocols may evolve over time. You will work closely with experienced colleagues in an environment where collaboration, open dialogue, and a flexible approach to planning and execution are part of everyday work. As priorities evolve, the team adapts while maintaining a clear focus on key deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing IHC and ISH on automated platforms
  • Evaluation of stained slides by the microscope or digital image analysis
  • Conduct bacterial and mammalian cell work
  • Prepare GLP documentation and develop experimental protocols
  • Document experiments and results in a structured and quality‑focused manner
  • Actively share knowledge and communicate effectively within the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align results, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to the development, optimization and continuous improvement of methods and workflows

Qualifications

  • Education: Laboratory Technician or Bioanalyst
  • Comfortable communication in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience with the above-mentioned techniques is an advantage, but training will be provided
  • Experience with automated IHC and ISH is considered a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards
  • Broad laboratory competencies and a strong willingness to learn
  • Thrives in a development environment where protocols are not always predefined
  • Curious, open to new challenges, and motivated by tasks involving new or unfamiliar techniques
  • Enjoys a positive and engaging workplace
