Meet the team:
As a Territory Sales Manager in Leiden-Rotterdam-Hague, you play a pivotal role in bringing Dexcom’s solutions to life—working closely with healthcare professionals across primary and secondary care to improve patient outcomes.
You are at the heart of our mission: building strong networks, driving product adoption, and delivering impactful training and support that empowers HCPs and patients alike. From leading engaging educational sessions to shaping strategic territory plans, you combine insight, initiative, and collaboration to grow our presence and make a real difference.
Working alongside a supportive and dynamic team, you’ll leverage cross-functional expertise to expand market share, elevate standards of care, and help more people benefit from Dexcom’s life-changing technology.
Where you come in:
You own sales performance within your territory by planning and executing customer engagements, setting objectives, and achieving targets.
You develop and implement territory and account plans, analyze market data, build strong customer relationships, expand networks, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive growth.
You maintain a strong understanding of diabetes, Dexcom products, customer segments, patient journeys, market trends, competitors, and healthcare regulations.
You use data, tools, and territory insights to identify opportunities, guide strategy, and effectively position Dexcom solutions
You provide training and education to healthcare professionals and patients through both in-person and virtual channels
You act as the primary point of contact for product inquiries, ensuring customers are well-supported and informed.
You manage business planning, reporting, and administrative responsibilities, including CRM updates, call reporting, expense submission, and performance tracking.
You utilize sales tools effectively and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.
You collaborate with internal teams, share best practices, and participate in required meetings to support business objectives.
You uphold Dexcom values, maintain ethical and regulatory compliance, and adhere to all company health, safety, and fleet policies.
What makes you successful:
You have at least 3 years of sales experience in primary and/or secondary care, with a proven track record of achieving targets. Diabetes experience is preferred.
You bring strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to identify and act on market opportunities.
You have experience selling within the healthcare environment and a solid understanding of data analysis to manage and grow a territory.
You hold a valid driver’s license (B).
You communicate effectively in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Travel Required:
More than 75%
Experience and Education:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience
Has a degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
