What You'll Do:
This position will lead AT&T’s AI‑Ready Network strategy and execution team with a mission to build an intent‑driven platform for agentic, and autonomous AI networking . Define network intent models, APIs, and AI‑optimized connectivity services (slicing, deterministic performance, on‑demand overlays). Drive edge micro‑cloud and distributed intelligence strategy while embedding trust, security, and data sovereignty by design. Partner across Technology, Product, Operations, and Security to monetize AI‑centric network capabilities at scale.
What You'll Need:
- Experience with large‑scale network architecture, infrastructure platforms, or telecom/cloud transformation
- Deep expertise across IP/optical transport, mobile core, RAN, wireline networks, and automation/telemetry‑driven systems
- Proven experience leading multi‑domain, multi‑year programs with material architectural and operational impact
- Strong background in programmable networks, intent‑based systems, APIs, or Network‑as‑a‑Service models
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure, edge computing, hyperscaler and neocloud ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical vision into executive strategy, investment priorities, and monetizable services
- Executive‑level communication skills and experience influencing across highly matrixed organizations

- Designs and executes strategies that support the overarching philosophy of the organization.
- Oversees departmental programs and is often hands-on with the design and implementation of applicable strategies. Typically leads large teams, supervising supervisors as well as career-level staff within the organization.
Our Director-Member of Technical Staff, earns between $241,500-$362,300 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
