Job Description:

The Field Supervisor is responsible for facilitating the daily operations of the assigned EMS service area. This includes performs HR functions to include employee performance evaluations and coaching. This position acts as the field training officer by overseeing new employees throughout the orientation process and mentoring peers. Additionally, the Field Supervisor performs Paramedic duties in emergency and nonemergency situations by providing efficient and immediate care for patients.Education: ▪ Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent ▪ Preferred: Basic Leadership Develop Management Courses Experience: ▪ Required: At least 6 months experience as an EMT-P ▪ Preferred: Previous EMT-P experience in a comparable environment Skills: ▪ Must be 21 years of age ▪ Calmly and efficiently perform and make appropriate decisions rapidly under stress in emergency situations ▪ Ability to work outdoors ▪ Ability to follow instructions. ▪ Is familiar with age specific needs for the patient population served Licensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ Required: Current Missouri licensure as E.M.T.- P. AND For-hire driver’s license (Class E) or greater (CDL) for operation of an ambulance in the state of residence
