At Braze, we have found our people. We’re a genuinely approachable, exceptionally kind, and intensely passionate crew.

We seek to ignite that passion by setting high standards, championing teamwork, and creating work-life harmony as we collectively navigate rapid growth on a global scale while striving for greater equity and opportunity – inside and outside our organization.

To flourish here, you must be prepared to set a high bar for yourself and those around you. There is always a way to contribute: Acting with autonomy, having accountability and being open to new perspectives are essential to our continued success.

Our deep curiosity to learn and our eagerness to share diverse passions with others gives us balance and injects a one-of-a-kind vibrancy into our culture.

If you are driven to solve exhilarating challenges and have a bias toward action in the face of change, you will be empowered to make a real impact here, with a sharp and passionate team at your back. If Braze sounds like a place where you can thrive, we can’t wait to meet you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Team Overview:
    • You'll join Braze's Orchestration Division, specifically leading design for our Reporting and Billing efforts. This isn’t just about charts and reports; it’s about clarity. Our mission is to transform Braze’s massive amount of data into a holistic analytics experience that feels intuitive, actionable, and, dare we say, delightful
    • The Reporting team sits at the intersection of every major product area at Braze. We partner across the organization to bridge the gap between "sending a message" and "understanding its impact." You’ll be responsible for evolving our reporting platform to help marketers visualize trends and historical data effortlessly. Simultaneously, you’ll tackle the challenge of billing, turning complex financial workflows into transparent, seamless experiences
    • Your work will directly impact thousands of marketers worldwide who design, build, and optimize their customer journeys with Braze, transforming complex technical capabilities into intuitive, powerful tools that drive meaningful customer connections
  • Responsibilities:
    • Lead the end-to-end design for Braze’s reporting suite, evolving how thousands of global brands visualize aggregate stats and historical performance across every channel and campaign
    • Apply a deep understanding of information hierarchy and visual variables to create dashboards that don't just show data, but tell a story and enable customers to identify ROI-driving insights at a glance
    • Contribute to the Braze design system by establishing new patterns for data density, charts, and tables, ensuring they work uplevel and work harmoniously with our existing experiences
    • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and fellow designers to navigate the technical constraints of real-time data ingestion, ensuring our high-fidelity designs are both performant and feasible at enterprise scale to serve diverse customer needs
    • Partner with UX Research to conduct usability testing on complex workflows, ensuring we are abstracting away technical "noise" while keeping powerful capabilities accessible to power users
    • Create high-fidelity prototypes and detailed interaction specifications that communicate design intent to engineering teams, ensuring seamless implementation of features that perform reliably at enterprise scale
    • Think systemically about how individual features connect across the broader Braze platform, designing solutions that work harmoniously with existing tools while preparing for future product evolution and customer growth
    • Present design concepts and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership to connect your craft to business outcomes and influence the roadmap, building alignment around user experience priorities and demonstrating how better reporting leads to better marketing strategies for our customers.
