Web Development Engineer-I, Carrier Logistics

We are looking for a Web-Development engineer with knowledge and skills in building interactive interfaces using modern JavaScript tooling like React, Angular, etc. We want someone who can work well in a heterogeneous environment of different languages and technologies, and can bring flexibility, speed and quality to our team. You should be genuinely excited about technology, have interest in learning about and playing with the latest technologies and building compelling web applications and UI.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
- Knowledge of technologies such as JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, Responsive/Adaptive Design
- Experience creating and managing web-based applications
- Experience guiding or managing user research and usability testing
- Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of AWS services
- Experience in a highly agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
- Experience translating design mockups, prototypes and user stories into working applications
- Understanding of web services technologies such as REST, SOAP, HTTP, JSON
- Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive
- Experience in development best practices including Agile development, peer code reviews and unit testing.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
