Job Description

Expression of Interest: Compounding Technician – Auckland

We are seeking expressions of interest for multiple positions within our compounding team in Auckland. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Technician to work collaboratively and support the aseptic production process.

Candidates who are looking to start their career in pharmaceuticals are encouraged to apply as full training will be provided.


Key responsibilities

  • Picking and preparing raw materials.
  • Aseptically compounding (mixing) sterile solutions or syringes.
  • Packing of finished units for each order including final inspection of products.
  • Labelling and dispatching of prepared products.
  • Ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures
  • The successful candidate will receive full training in all aspects of the Technician role and will work alongside our site trainers and coaches until fully versatile and competent.

Essential skills & qualifications

  • Enjoy work that requires a high attention to detail
  • Be comfortable working within a cleanroom environment for part of your working day
  • Be able to lift up to 10 kgs regularly throughout the day
  • Be highly productive
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of basic mathematics
  • Our operational hours are between 5:00 am to 10:00 pm (Monday to Sunday). Shift’s are for 8 hours between these times. 

The current standard hours of work for this role is 8 hours/day between 5:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday to Sunday.  However, to meet customer requirements we do require flexibility to work alternative hours from time to time and the roster may change in future to meet changing customer needs. 

This role is subject to the following:

  • A pre -employment medical including stringent vision screening (GMP requirement), background and reference checks.
  • Meet compliance and requirements for a mask fit test
