What this job involves:
As a JLL ServiceNow ITOM Developer you will create design, configure, and implement IT Operations Management modules—specifically Discovery, Reconciliations, Service Mapping and Cloud Management. This enables us to transform IT operations through Service Mapping and dependency visualization which automatically discovers and maps your entire infrastructure in real-time. The ITOM Developer will use JavaScript, Flow Designer, and MID Servers to integrate third-party tools, maintain CMDB health, and optimize system performance.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Configuration & Development: Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow using JavaScript, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.
CMDB Health: Maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB) data integrity, normalization, and reconciliation rules.
Implementation: Configure and deploy ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management) to automate operations.
Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with third-party monitoring tools (e.g., Service Graph, Tanium, Tenable, Intune, Jamf, SCCM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Troubleshooting: Configure MID Servers and resolve issues related to pattern probes, sensors, and discovery
Platform Development: Configure, develop, and customize core ServiceNow applications (CMDB, Discovery, Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests).
Workflow Automation: Create and maintain complex workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and actions.
Customization: Build tailored Service Portal pages, widgets, and user experiences.
Maintenance & Support: Monitor system performance, perform troubleshooting, and manage update sets to move code from development to production.
Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to analyze, design, and document technical requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Comprehensive understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow ITSM implementation best practices. Experience with multiple ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset Management, Service Catalog, and ITOM (IT Operations Management). Knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, including application scopes, plugins, and upgrade processes.
Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Reporting, and Dashboard creation.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications required. Additional certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist or Certified Technical Architect preferred. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently on complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or other advanced certifications.
Experience with ServiceNow ITOM, SecOps, or HR Service Delivery modules.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies.

Salary/ Comp:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, typically ranging $40,000-$70,000 annually.
