Job Description
CACI, INC. – FEDERAL has a contract with a federal agency to implement, support, and maintain a mission-critical SAP S/4HANA solution supporting transportation and logistics operations for the Department of Defense. The CACI Team manages Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Financials, Application Development, and Technical Operations, including Security, GRC, and Identity & Access Management—within the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) environment.
CACI is seeking to hire an SAP Integration Suite Senior Developer that will be responsible for the solutions that typically exchange data among SAP instances and external systems that are integral components across the JTMS landscape. The typical interface model embraces Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles, building on SAP best practices and the SAP enterprise service architecture. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite and prior experience supporting USTRANSCOM (USTC) transportation operations, systems, or programs.
The architect will ensure SAP Integration Suite capabilities align with DoW transportation doctrine, regulatory requirements (DTR, DoW FMR), and Clean Core principles while supporting complex integrations across DoW and commercial transportation ecosystems.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The JTMS solution is foundational to the DoW mission, enabling the fielding and sustainment of transportation, logistics, and financial operations.
As the Transportation Management Solution Architect, you will:
Integration Suite – Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in the analysis of the customer's business operations to validate requirements and scope, suggest process improvements, and assist in level of effort (LOE) estimation, if required.
- Analyze business requirements to design and develop end-to-end integration flows (iFlows) using various patterns like synchronous/asynchronous, event-driven, and API-led architectures.
- Evaluate, model and design interface objects from an enterprise Service Architecture perspective to construct interface connectors, complex mappings and routing rules.
- Analyzing current JTMS landscape to identify integration gaps and recommend appropriate modernization strategies.
- Analyze integration requirements to create integration flows (iFlows) while factoring connectivity and performance issues.
- Developing and maintaining SAP design and technical specification documents
- Conducting unit, integration, and release testing to validate functionality
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
- 15+ years of SAP experience with 10+ years in SAP Integration Middleware.
- Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI/Cloud Integration), SAP Integration Advisor, and API management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BTP architecture
- Proficiency in Groovy scripts, XSLT, and implement message mapping (MIG/MAG) to bridge the legacy application mapping into SAP APIs.
- Deep understanding of EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12) and experience with DoD EDI standards (DTEB preferred).
- Configure EDI interfaces using TPM Configuration and configure adapters (AS2, SFTP, OData).
- Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, EDI, and JSON/XML formats.
- Experience in API Management publishing, securing and monitoring APIs while enforcing security policies (OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS).
- Configure standard and custom adapters (SFTP, REST, SOAP, OData, JDBC, IDoc) and manage message mapping, transformations, and routing.
