EōS Fitness is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst who is a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical professional. This role goes beyond payroll processing and focuses on payroll analytics, forecasting, audits, compensation support, and financial reporting. The Senior Payroll Analyst partners closely with Finance, HR, and Payroll leadership to ensure payroll accuracy, cost visibility, and compliance across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on reconciliation of payroll results to business results, ensuring payroll outcomes accurately reflect approved earnings, bonuses, and operational performance.
  • Support cyclical, high-volume bonus and incentive payroll processing, including validation of source data, calculations, testing, and post-processing reconciliation.
  • Analyze payroll transactions and labor costs, identifying discrepancies, variances, and root causes prior to payroll finalization.
  • Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll expenses to the general ledger and P&L, supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities.
  • Conduct detailed payroll audits (internal and external), including documentation, variance explanations, and compliance validation.
  • Review payroll data for accuracy related to exemptions, overtime, premium pay, and state-specific wage requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex payroll calculations tied to commissions, incentives, and bonus structures.
  • Support payroll reporting needs by maintaining and validating recurring and ad hoc payroll reports.
  • Assist with the execution, testing, and validation of payroll changes related to new or modified pay programs.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and recommend process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex payroll issues, partnering with Payroll and HR to drive timely resolution.
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local wage and tax regulations and ensure payroll practices remain compliant.
