Role and Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Manager, RB Innovation will coordinate and manage strategy plan under limited supervision. The individual will act as a technical liaison between the manufacturing, service department and HQ Korea to address customer-defined requirements. They will ensure successful product launches by resolving technical issues with the HQ Engineering Team and meeting deliverables. Building strong relationships with SEA Product Management, Sales, and field-testing teams is essential to drive product development and schedule success. Additionally, the role involves interfacing with customers to ensure satisfaction, analyzing return rates to plan future needs, developing repair strategies for new products, and auditing/analysis third-party vendors for outsourced repairs.

Role & Responsibilities

Solving business-related problems:

  • Develops and improves product inspection, testing, diagnostics, and repair procedures
  • Understand and implement data analysis strategies that meet business strategy
  • Experienced professional with full understanding on specialized areas; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways

Project Management:

  • Determines resource needs and project timelines
  • Communicates project status to management at all levels

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyzes service data to identify trends and rates
  • Prepares statistical reports and forecasts future requirements, budgets, and resources
  • Establish/support infrastructure that continuously grows to strategically analyze data

Process Improvement:

  • Establishes new processes and enhances existing ones to improve reverse logistics performance
  • Designs and optimize process flow plans to maximize output

Systems Management:

  • Oversees RB-MES systems and application enhancements for the repair department
  • Recommends improvements to boost operational efficiency and ensure data integrity
  • Manages systems and information projects to meet performance expectations

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience in a project development role with 2-5 years of experience in wireless telecommunications, with direct project development and long-term customer relationship building
  • Experience in marketing, sales, product management, or development, including compiling and presenting product/service information
  • Experience researching and resolving customer technical complaints and issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in a Windows XP or NT LAN/WAN environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Korean is highly preferred
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university and 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Work experience in the telecommunications industry
