Job Description

Amazon's EU Pricing team is looking for a sharp, analytically driven Associate Product Manager to support the definition and execution of our pricing roadmap, ensuring Amazon's customers get a great price on each and every product they find on our website. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the details — driving analysis through SQL queries/Python scripts, and leveraging AI/ML tools to turn data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is curious, organized, and execution-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills; is customer obsessed and comfortable working hands-on with large datasets; has a high attention to detail and a proven ability to deliver results on multiple workstreams simultaneously. The right person is eager to learn, takes ownership of their deliverables, and collaborates effectively across teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Supporting the scoping, scheduling, testing and deployment of pricing initiatives by partnering with business, product and engineering teams across EU and WW.
- Writing and maintaining SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, analyze and monitor pricing data at scale, identifying trends, anomalies and opportunities.
- Leveraging AI/ML tools and automation (e.g., LLMs, scripting assistants, internal AI platforms) to accelerate analysis, reporting and operational workflows.
- Managing day-to-day execution of multiple concurrent projects with strong organization, time management and follow-through.
- Translating business requirements into clear, well-documented specs for technical and non-technical partners.
- Measuring the impact of pricing actions through rigorous data analysis, surfacing findings and recommending refinements to strategy or algorithm logic.
- Preparing materials for executive reviews, supporting escalation responses, and ensuring follow-through on action items with high accuracy.
- Communicating analytical findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders, with strong attention to detail in every deliverable.

A day in the life
You will spend your time leading a workstream end-to-end with increasing complexity and impact. You will support senior PMs in shaping strategic direction by providing the analytical backbone behind key decisions. You will partner with cross-functional teams (product and program management, business intelligence, software engineers, and international partners) to execute, monitor and improve our pricing programs. You will regularly contribute to program updates and present data-driven insights to leadership.

Basic Qualifications

- 1+ years professional experience in product management, management consulting or related experience.
- Bachelor degree (as a minimum)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with SQL proficiency; strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with financial and operational analysis.
- Demonstrated success partnering with diverse teams in different organizations.
- Bias for action and hunger for quantifiable results.
- Successful candidates will be autonomous, tenacious and creative. They will quickly adapt to work in a fast paced environment where prioritizing and multi-tasking are essential.
- Fluent English. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Post-graduate education / Masters level qualification
- Proven track record of owning and delivering innovative experiences to customers. Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Python/BI experience
