About the job

We are seeking a Compensation Manager to partner closely with our R&D organization—including Engineering, Product, Design, and Data Science—to design, implement, and manage compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain top technical talent. This role is a strategic advisor to leaders and HR Business Partners, bringing deep expertise in benchmarking, market trends, job architecture, and equity compensation within high-growth tech environments.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping our compensation philosophy for R&D, guiding annual and mid-year cycles, leveling and job framework decisions, and advising on offers, promotions, and pay equity analyses and recommendations.

This role will report to the Sr. Director, Compensation and will partner with the broader people team as well as external, cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Help facilitate corporate compensation programs such as annual compensation review cycles, promotion cycles, pay equity review, market calibration, survey participation, etc.
  • Design and deliver compensation structures and methodologies that will scale for long term durability and global expansion in partnership with the broader compensation team. Create and deliver training materials on compensation fundamentals for leaders and managers.
  • Create dynamic compensation models and dashboards and articulate insights and recommend solutions based on your data analyses.
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts from other teams and functions to address and provide solutions to ever-changing business needs.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, leaders, internal and external partners with emotional intelligence, curiosity and integrity. Own compensation products from start to end with the customer in mind.
  • Develop policies and processes that support innovation and growth while upholding compliance and minimizing risk. Memorialize key decisions, methodologies, processes, policies and add to the compensation repository/library for future reference and utilization.
  • Be a trusted advisor. Partner with Human Resource Business Partners and senior business leaders to understand their operational issues and opportunities and create automated solutions to scale.
