The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Accounts Receivable Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Total Ownership: Lead the Customer Issue Resolution (CIR) process across Japan as part of the area leadership team —from billing to collections to dispute resolution—with full accountability for performance, strategy, and transformation.
  • Impact at Scale: Influence customer experience for 2,000+ clients while managing a team of mixed resources; Employees, Contract Workers and Outsource Workers
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build senior relationships with key stakeholders (AP managers, procurement heads, business owners) across the health and dental industry.
  • Transformation Leader: Deploy global process frameworks, upskill teams, and lead change initiatives that shape the future of customer operations
  • KPI Mastery: Drive measurable results in Days Sales Outstanding, dispute resolution cycle times, and overdue payments.
  • Reports to Asia Revenue Operations Manager (based in Sydney)
  • Proven Leadership: You lead with clarity, empathy, and accountability—bringing out the best in diverse teams.
  • Customer Obsession: You solve problems before they escalate, delivering a frictionless experience across the customer journey.
  • Process Excellence: You see inefficiencies as opportunities and have a track record of improving operations using metrics, lean methods, or Six Sigma.
  • Strategic Communication: You’re a confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams with credibility.
  • Technical Agility: Experience with multiple ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and tools like Salesforce? Even better.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • 7+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, Customer Service, Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain.
  • Track record of leading and developing high-performance teams.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Six Sigma, Agile or Project Management certifications are a plus.

Work location: Tokyo, Japan

·       Hybrid (Onsite and Remote): Eligible

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
