Job Description

Job Summary:

This role is critical in leading cross-functional initiatives that drive cultural and operational change across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine project management discipline with HR expertise to manage projects and communication efforts for people-centered solutions that enable strategic growth, enhance employee engagement, and foster a resilient organizational culture.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead end-to-end project planning and execution of HR-related initiatives

    • Develop project scopes, charters, timelines, resource plans, and communication strategies

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear deliverables and success metrics

    • Monitor and report progress to leadership, identifying and mitigating risks proactively

    • Support project workforce planning, and capability-building strategies

  • Develop and execute change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communication plans, training, and readiness assessments

    • Lead communication efforts for change initiatives working with cross functional partners

    • Align HR efforts with broader business transformation strategies

    • Serve as a change advocate, fostering a culture of adaptability and innovation

    • Create and deliver change impact analyses and adoption tracking to ensure successful transitions

    • Equip leaders and managers with tools to lead change effectively across their teams

Skills:

  • Understanding of HR functions and systems

  • Knowledge of change management methodologies, tools, and best practices

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and adapt to changing business needs

  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving capabilities and data-driven decision-making skills

  • Strong influencing, interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, and escalation skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical individuals

  • Ability to manage the documentation, archiving, traceability, changes, and approvals of requirements throughout the project life cycle

  • Well-developed planning abilities, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities

Experience: 

  • Experience planning and managing small project work assignments within desired time and quality parameters

  • Experience in retail specific HR change initiatives

  • Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (2 – 4 years)
