The Opportunity:

The SAP Data Services Consultant will serve as the technical expert supporting SAP based analytics infrastructure and driving end to end data integration within the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES) program.

Responsibilities:

  • SAP Data Services Solutions: Designing and developing end-to-end data integration solutions using Data Services Designer
  • Data Services Designer Workflows: Designing, developing, and optimizing data integration workflows with complex transformation logic and legacy system extraction
  • Jobs and Data Flows: Creating, developing, and maintaining Jobs and Data Flows; optimizing and tuning SAP Data Services jobs for performance and reliability
  • Legacy Data Extraction: Designing and developing solutions to extract data from non-SAP legacy databases, COTS systems (SAP S/4HANA compatible), and enterprise applications into SAP Data Services
  • BODS Solutions Architecture: Designing end-to-end SAP BODS solutions, mock-and-load cycles, technical validation, troubleshooting and resolving data extraction/transformation/loading issues
  • Data Quality & Governance: Establishing data governance frameworks, transformation rules validation, quality validation frameworks, and comprehensive solution documentation


Qualifications:

Required:

  • A bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Data Integration and Analytics Architect with15+ years driving enterprise data architecture, SAP- based analytics infrastructure, and end-to-end data integration excellence across Healthcare, Federal, Financial Services, Energy, and Manufacturing sectors.
  • 6+ years hands-on designing, developing, and implementing SAP Data Services (BODS) solutions using Data Services Designer to extract data from non-SAP legacy databases and COTS systems into SAP Data Services.
  • Expert in designing, developing, and maintaining complex data integration workflows, data mappings, transformations, and ETL pipelines using industry best practices.
  • Proven expertise optimizing and tuning SAP Data Services jobs, troubleshooting and resolving data extraction, transformation, and loading issues, and developing comprehensive documentation for SAP BODS solutions.
  • Expert in designing and implementing:
