Job Description

As an EHS Technician, you will join a confident and imaginative team focused on providing foundational safety across our operations. You will be a vital partner to our field services and office teams, making complex safety protocols accessible and actionable. This role is grounded in our commitment to a proactive approach to security, where you will implement essential solutions to protect people, property, and places. Key Responsibilities

Project Risk Management & Inspection

  • Collaborate with field services teams to identify project-related risks and develop proactive safety solutions

  • Execute and complete onsite inspections and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) throughout the project lifecycle

  • Identify environmental and safety factors that may adversely impact employee health and assist in developing mitigation procedures

  • Conduct thorough analysis, evaluation, and testing of potential safety, health, and environmental exposures

Training & Educational Leadership

  • Develop and deliver EHS Training Courses tailored to the specific hazards of field service and office environments

  • Facilitate training in multiple formats, including instructor-led sessions, webinars, and online modules to educate the workforce

  • Promote new initiatives, processes, and best practices to enhance the organization's safety culture

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting

  • Review inspection and audit reports to recommend methods that ensure continuous health and environmental regulatory compliance

  • Ensure accurate safety and health record-keeping procedures are followed in accordance with established policies

  • Prepare comprehensive reports of EHS Findings and submit strategic recommendations to management

  • Report non-compliance issues and partner with leadership to develop and enforce corrective actions

Bidding & Investigation Support

  • Support presale teams by evaluating EHS Concerns during the project bidding and contract negotiation process

  • Lead accident investigations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement effective corrective actions for all employees

  • Build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill organizational objectives


Basic Requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Regulatory Standards (NR) to ensure all field and office operations meet Brazilian legal requirements

  • Construction Safety Practices to manage risks in high-stakes worksite environments

  • Advanced English Proficiency to communicate effectively within our global organizational framework

  • Professional Certification in Safety Technology or a regional equivalent

  • Valid Driver’s License to facilitate travel to various project sites and locations
     

Professional Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in implementing EHS Procedures and initiatives within construction or general industry environments

  • Legal Analysis to read, interpret, and apply complex laws and safety regulations

  • Safety Auditing to evaluate workplace environments and identify potential hazards
