Job Description:

Job Title: Transportation Supervisor
Position Summary
The Program Supervisor leads a portfolio of related projects to deliver outcomes that support strategic business objectives and customer success. This role is responsible for aligning program initiatives to long-term organizational goals, translating strategy into executable roadmaps, and ensuring cross-functional teams deliver measurable value. The Program Supervisor oversees program planning, governance, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication to drive operational efficiency and sustained performance.
Key Responsibilities
Program Strategy & Portfolio Alignment
  • Own and manage a portfolio of related customer projects, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities, customer needs, and business outcomes.
  • Translate organizational and customer objectives into clear program goals, success metrics, and measurable deliverables.
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate program opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and adjust scope based on evolving business requirements.
  • Ensure project plans remain integrated and coordinated across multiple teams, vendors, and functional areas.
  • Monitor progress against milestones and service levels; proactively remove roadblocks to keep delivery on track.
  • Identify and negotiate tradeoffs to balance competing priorities while protecting strategic outcomes.
Risk, Issue, and Change Management
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks across scope, schedule, budget, quality, compliance, and operational impact.
  • Maintain program RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), escalating decisions and risks appropriately.
  • Lead change management across stakeholders and impacted teams to ensure adoption, readiness, and sustained performance improvements.
Stakeholder & Customer Management
  • Serve as a key liaison between executive leadership, project teams, and customers—ensuring transparency, alignment, and accountability.
  • Communicate program health through executive-ready updates, dashboards, and business reviews.
  • Ensure customer requirements and experience expectations are integrated into program planning and delivery.
Continuous Improvement & Organizational Efficiency
  • Drive standardization and process improvement by applying best practices, lessons learned, and performance insights across the program.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and delivery outcomes.
  • Define and track program KPIs/OKRs (e.g., on-time delivery, cost-to-deliver, benefits realization, customer satisfaction).
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience leading programs and/or multiple concurrent projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build roadmaps and coordinate resources across multiple teams.
  • Strong risk management, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
  • Proficiency with program/project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Monday.com) and reporting dashboards.
Preferred
  • Program Management certification (PgMP), PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certifications, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing large-scale transformation initiatives, operational improvement programs, or customer-facing delivery programs.
  • Working knowledge of governance frameworks, portfolio management, or enterprise operating models.

Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,160.00/year to $120,480.00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
