The senior MSL supervisor position is crucial in ensuring a collaboration between Medical Affairs and stakeholders of the German scientific community.

He/she is responsible for coordinating and supervising a group of (senior) MSLs, gives strategic and operational direction, supports national projects and integrates critical customer-facing activities

What You Will Be Doing:

• Acts as priority field contact to the Country Executive Medical Director and the Senior Business Unit Director, and serves as interface between the medical and commercial teams
• Develops and extents a collaborative network with key external stakeholders, including with research centers critical for the successful advance of the company´s pipeline in Germany
• Coordinates the development and provides supervision of the Key External Experts and Investigators Engagement Plans – which identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborative relationship with External Experts and Scientific Bodies
• Exhibits – including in evaluation and improvement of internal processes (including those that need to be aligned cross-functionally in a European context) – a high degree of customer focus and adherence to the highest standards of compliance/legal requirements
• Proactively identifies key topics and scientific questions within the national and European medical landscape relevant for the successful execution of the German medical affairs plans
• Defines key tactics – in close collaboration with the relevant internal and external stakeholders – to best and compliantly communicate the value of Incyte’s medications
• Ensures local implementation of medical plans in concordance with the overall strategy, strategic alignment and harmonization of tactics
• Responsible for MSL field excellence development and KPI delivery, reporting, coaching and training
• Represents the company and leads medical & scientific exchanges with key experts

Your Profile:

• German native speaker and excellent English language skills

• Advanced academic degree (e.g. PharmD, PhD, or MD, scientific track record (peer-reviewed publications, thesis) is considered a plus

• Experience in the area of hematology and/or oncology with an established external network of key stakeholders within Incyte´s focus areas

• Excellent knowledge of the German medical and scientific landscape, including relevant aspects of regulatory, access and compliance/legal requirements

• At least 5 years of field experience as an MSL and previous leadership experience
