About the role

The Engineering Manager will be assisting the Director of Engineering in managing the Engineering Department, overseeing repairs and preventive maintenance of all M&E systems. Requires strong technical skills in maintaining kitchen and laundry equipment, as well as general building systems. The Engineering Manager must demonstrate a service‑oriented mindset, solid technical competency, and a committed attitude toward supporting overall hotel operations in line with Four Seasons standards.

What you will do

Assist the Director of Engineering in daily operations, ensuring proper maintenance of all resort facilities, including kitchen and laundry equipment.
Manage Engineering staff responsibilities, performance reviews, scheduling, and staffing processes. Oversee maintenance contracts and coordinate work with external contractors.
Prepare and submit operational reports required for daily engineering needs.
Approve duty rosters and ensure proper enforcement of staff meal and break periods in compliance with hotel regulations.
Support continuous improvement through cost‑saving initiatives and work simplification programs.

What you bring

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
High attention to detail, with a commitment to safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and solve problems efficiently in a fast‑paced resort environment.
5+ years of engineering experience in a luxury hotel or resort, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
