The Impact
The work you do will be used every single day, it’s the essential code you’ll write will be used by S&P Global analysts to publish the news and provide equity analysis, research, opinion, and performance data to help clients/investors to make informed and take better decisions.
Responsibilities
- Propose strategies to drive adoption of new tools and technology to improve testing efficiency.
- Manage testing software projects from detailed requirement analysis, developing test strategy, planning, test designing, documentation & effective reporting.
- Consultation/mentoring to the module lead and test leads on test practices, strategy and planning.
- Provide quality metrics to leadership team or in-depth analysis of each release displaying trends and patterns.
- Reviewing the requirements of different Test Phases required ensuring Quality deliverables.
- Drive best practices and provide guidance to the stakeholders on Testing Practices.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners
- As a team-member should continuously improve the architecture
What We’re Looking For
Education and experience
- Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
- 4+ years of strong experience in Automation/white box testing using Java & Java based frameworks
- Experience in testing and managing end to end project delivery
- Exposure to API, database testing & Performance Testing
- Specialized knowledge of Test tools and deployment
- Hands on experience on Selenium Web-driver, Protractor, TestNG etc
- Strong programming exposure on Core Java and familiarity with OOPs concepts.
- Strong Database knowledge with ability to frame basic queries
- Self-managed individual who can actively build the automation frameworks from scratch
- Experience in designing high efficiency tests for scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications
- Strong understanding of test design techniques (Boundary value Analysis and Equivalence partitioning)
- Proficient with software development Test lifecycle (STLC) methodologies
- Must have strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Good to Have:
- Exposure to AWS will be an added advantage
- Exposure to BDD will be an added advantage
- Exposure to NoSQL database will be an added advantage

- Open minded, flexible, and willing to adapt to changing situations.
