Position Summary...

The Manager, Site Merchandising, leads the design and optimization of online department sites to enhance customer engagement and drive traffic through strategic navigation, product placement, and promotional initiatives. This role involves leveraging customer analytics and market research to inform site improvements and category strategies. The manager collaborates cross-functionally to align merchandising efforts with business goals, oversees campaign execution, and provides actionable insights to support decision-making. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to influence stakeholders, develop team members, and ensure compliance with company standards while delivering measurable business results.

What you'll do...

About the team:
The Seasonal & Celebrations and Toys Site Merchandising teams designs engaging experiences that inspire millions of Walmart customers throughout the year. By combining strategic insights with creative execution, the team delivers effective merchandising solutions using customer analytics, market research, and category strategy. Collaborating across functions, they enhance site performance and campaign outcomes through data-driven decision-making. Committed to continuous improvement, the team plays a key role in shaping Walmart’s site experience, aligning efforts with business objectives while promoting collaboration and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
  • Build and optimize site merchandising for assigned departments by designing category displays, product layouts, and featured items to drive unpaid traffic.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop navigation strategies that enhance customer engagement and site performance.
  • Analyze customer behavior and market data to recommend site changes and support category strategy decisions.
  • Prepare and present clear, data-driven reports and insights to influence business partners and leadership.
  • Manage campaign launches, coordinating resources and evaluating promotional effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven expertise in site merchandising, including site navigation, visual merchandising, and use of administrative tools such as Tempo and Tango.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage customer analytics and market research to inform site and category strategies.
  • Experience in developing and executing category strategies and business plans aligned with eCommerce retail environments.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to collaborate effectively across teams and present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to manage product discovery, campaign launches, and site structure optimization using SEO and web analytics.
  • Demonstrated leadership in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to achieve business goals.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
