This role sits within the Global Transportation Team, a high-performing group responsible for the end-to-end movement of service parts across the world. The team ensures parts are shipped quickly, within regulatory requirements, and cost-effective to support global AGS operations. With deep expertise in international shipping, carrier negotiations, vendor management, trade and regulatory compliance, and data analysis, the team drives operational excellence. We work closely with logistics providers, supply chain teams, and regional operations to deliver best-in-class service performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead daily transportation operations to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-efficient delivery of service parts worldwide.
• Manage carrier performance, drive escalations to resolution, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support vendor management activities, including performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, trade compliance, planning, and regional operations to optimize processes.
• Contribute to global transportation strategy, including cost optimization initiatives and service-level improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to global trade, regulatory, and safety requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts using structured problem-solving and process engineering methodologies.
Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of supply chain and transportation management, including international shipping workflows.
• Proficiency in statistical data analytics to interpret operational trends and support decision-making.
• Ability to perform large-scale data analysis using analytical tools to uncover insights and
optimization opportunities.
• Experience with process engineering, including process mapping, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Requirements / Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of global transportation, distribution, or logistics operations.
• Experience in shipping, carrier management, or supply chain processes (internships or full-time roles) Preferred.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into operational improvements.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
