The WorkDocs product is a culmination of core platform (data plane, control plane, and search), web experience, desktop and mobile client experience, add-ins and APIs. Amazon WorkDocs is core to Amazon’s document writing culture and is used across levels for reviewing documents.

We are looking for a well-rounded software development engineer with knowledge of Web client technologies and frameworks like React, a proven track record of solving challenging technical problems and creating great products for end users to join WorkDocs Client Engineering team. Expectations from candidate is to help us build new set of Collaborative experiences and services for Enterprise Information Workers.

Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have an exceptional design, and coding skills along with strong technical acumen. You will be will be a catalyst for change by working with the various product managers and principal engineers to code and design flexible and scalable solutions, and work on some of the most complex challenges . Your contribution on our team will enable Amazon's success as we work to deliver the next generation of document collaboration and productivity tool at Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience building web applications with React and modern web technologies
- Experience with cloud native technologies
- Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touch points on different platforms and devices

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
