Job Description
NVIDIA is looking for a Product Development Manager to lead the chip NPI and Production which included the yield enhancement and the waste reduction. As the complexity of our Data Center (GPU) products increases , we need a dedicated professional to manage our all our products from NPI to mass production, optimize the cycle time, yield and ensure the smooth execution to meet the customer demand. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the time zone gap between Santa Clara and Taiwan.
What you will be doing:
Lead a technical team responsible for the CP/FT program release, qualification and the CHAR activities during the NPI. Will be also playing the product owner role from TWN site.
Identify and implement the test processes to improve the manufacturing efficiency for our latest GPU architectures, built in leading-edge process technology.
Analyze and root cause the product yield limiters, qualification failures (GPU, HBMs silicon and the package) on the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE)
Lead multi-functional efforts with DFx, Design, Timing, Test, Foundry, Quality, and Suppliers to root-cause the complicated technical problems.
Develop creative solutions for the complex problems and be on the front-line to lead showstopper bugs.
Be able to influence the future ASIC designs to improve the product quality, test coverage to drive yields up and reduce waste.
What we need to see:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ overall years of equivalent experience in semiconductor field.
3+ years experience leading a technical team in the product development engineering department.
Critical thinking, solution focused, deep problem solving skills and strong sense to take the ownership.
Exposure to the digital circuit design, the critical path analysis, process technologies, device physics, silicon reliability and aging mechanisms
Knowledgeable in DFx and various fault models
Experience with product characterization on Verigy 93K tester
Proficient in statistical modelling of data using JMP software or other statistical tools for data analysis
Familiar with the scripting/programming knowledge (Python or Perl)
Skilled at the collaborating with global teams
Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-functionally.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with DRAM Testing and 2.5D assembly
Strong background in DFx techniques and advanced CMOS processes
Examples of creative solutions to silicon/package problems
