At NVIDIA, we are revolutionizing deep learning, data analytics, and data center capabilities, and we are seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Manager (People Manager) to oversee a team of technical specialists—with end-to-end technical control over InfiniBand, HPC, and AI cluster delivery across APAC. This role requires a strong technical background in NVIDIA DC products (networking, InfiniBand, AI orchestration tools), full-stack data center technologies (storage, server, networking, virtualization, GPU), and deep understanding of AI technology, paired with proven people management skills to lead a team of a few to dozens of technical professionals. Additionally, you should be bilingual (English and Mandarin) and have a solid grasp of the APAC business model, as well as experience engaging with Chinese customers.
As a key leader in NVIDIA’s Infrastructure Specialist Team, you will serve as the Senior Technical Delivery Manager, owning people management for a team of Senior Networking (HPC/IB/AI) Solutions Architects and technical specialists, while providing overall technical control for all InfiniBand, HPC, and AI cluster delivery projects in the APAC region. You will balance team leadership, technical oversight, and customer-centric delivery—leveraging your understanding of the APAC business model and Chinese customer needs—to ensure alignment with NVIDIA’s strategic goals and maintain the highest standards of technical excellence and customer satisfaction. Your deep expertise in AI technology and full-stack DC technologies (storage, server, networking, virtualization, GPU) will be critical to guiding the team and delivering successful projects.
What you will be doing:
Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing technical team (size: a few to dozens of members) of Senior Networking (ETH/IB) Solutions Architects and technical specialists, overseeing the full people management lifecycle—hiring, onboarding, performance management, career development, coaching, and retention—fostering a collaborative, technically driven team culture.Provide overall technical control for all InfiniBand, HPC, and AI cluster delivery projects across the APAC region, ensuring technical excellence, adherence to NVIDIA DC product standards, and alignment with customer requirements.
Oversee the design, deployment, and operational reliability of large-scale AI/HPC infrastructure for new and existing customers in APAC, with a focus on InfiniBand networking, HPC clusters, and AI orchestration tools (e.g., BCM - Base Command Manager).
Lead technical decision-making for complex delivery projects, leveraging your deep understanding of AI technology and full-stack DC technologies (storage, server, networking, virtualization, GPU) to resolve critical technical challenges related to InfiniBand networks, data center architecture, network automation, and GPU-accelerated infrastructure.
Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, leveraging your deep technical expertise to optimize workflows for network provisioning, system design, automation, and post-deployment support (monitoring, logging, alerting).
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, product, support) to align technical delivery strategies with NVIDIA’s product roadmap, especially for NVIDIA DC products (networking, InfiniBand, AI orchestration tools).
Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customers (including Chinese customers) and partners across APAC, leveraging your understanding of the APAC business model and bilingual communication skills to serve as the technical leadership point of contact for large-scale AI/HPC delivery projects and address strategic technical and business needs.
Ensure the team adheres to technical best practices, compliance standards, and NVIDIA’s quality requirements, while driving accountability for project delivery timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction.
Coach and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills in InfiniBand, HPC, AI infrastructure, and NVIDIA DC products, empowering them to deliver complex projects independently and grow their careers.
Monitor team performance, track project progress, and communicate technical delivery status, challenges, and solutions to senior leadership in a clear, data-driven manner.
What we need to see:
BS/MS/PhD or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
10+ years of progressive technical experience in data center infrastructure, or equivelent exprience, and 5+ years of people management experience leading a technical team (size: 10 or more members).
Strong technical background in NVIDIA DC products (networking solutions, InfiniBand, AI orchestration tools, e.g., BCM - Base Command Manager), GPU-accelerated infrastructure, and full-stack data center technologies including storage, server, networking, virtualization. Additionally, a deep understanding of AI technology and its integration with DC infrastructure is required.
Deep expertise in networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, data center architecture, and InfiniBand networks—with hands-on experience in medium to large-scale HPC/AI environments.
Demonstrated experience overseeing end-to-end technical delivery of large-scale AI/HPC infrastructure projects, with a focus on performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Strong people management skills: ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams, foster collaboration, and drive accountability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin (bilingual), with excellent customer-facing and communication skills (verbal and written in both languages), enabling effective engagement with customers (including Chinese customers), partners, and cross-functional teams across the APAC region.
Based in APAC, with a solid understanding of the APAC business model to address their unique technical and business requirements. Ability to support regional delivery needs and collaborate across time zones.
Proven track record of resolving complex technical challenges and driving continuous improvement in technical delivery processes.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to balance technical oversight with people management responsibilities.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Linux or Networking Certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, HCIE) or NVIDIA-related certifications.
Extensive experience with HPC job schedulers (Slurm, PBS) and cluster management technologies (BCM - Base Command Manager is a strong plus).
Familiarity with cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid cloud infrastructure delivery in APAC.
Experience leading technical teams in a professional services or tech vendor environment, with a focus on top CSP customers in the APAC region.
Deep understanding of AI/ML workloads, their integration with HPC/InfiniBand infrastructure, and full-stack DC technologies (storage, server, networking, virtualization, GPU)—with hands-on experience optimizing performance for GPU-accelerated systems.
