As the Overnight Shift Engineer Supervisor, you will oversee all engineering activity during night hours, ensuring the property remains safe, efficient, and impeccably maintained. • Monitor building management systems (BMS) and respond promptly to alarms or performance concerns.

  • Ensure all overnight work aligns with quality, safety, and compliance requirements.

  • Maintain accurate logs, shift reports, and handover documentation for the daytime Engineering leadership team.

  • Coordinate and support emergency response procedures when required.

  • Work collaboratively with other departments to minimise disruption and prepare rooms or areas for the following day’s operations.

  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the night shift.

  • Participate in ongoing training to further enhance technical and supervisory skills.

What you bring

  • Strong background in engineering — electrical, mechanical, or multi‑skilled.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory, team‑lead, or senior technician role.

  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, especially under pressure.

  • Ability to lead a small team with confidence, clarity, and a calm overnight presence.

  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the shift.

  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.

  • Knowledge of MEP systems, compliance requirements, and safe working practices.

  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards.

  • A positive attitude and dedication to maintaining an exceptional environment.
