Title and Summary
Vice President, Chief of StaffoverviewThe General Counsel is looking for a VP, Chief of Staff to support her to ensure efficient operations, drive alignment, and enable decision-making.
Role
In this position, you will report directly to the General Counsel, collaborating with her and the leadership team on a range of initiatives. Your responsibilities include supporting the implementation of the Law Department’s strategic priorities, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), fostering team culture, and ensuring effective communication.
• Provide strategic guidance to the General Counsel and leadership team to optimize departmental operations and foster alignment within the law department.
• Prepare and deliver executive presentations and internal communications tailored to diverse audiences, including Board of Directors meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, and business updates.
• Promote transparent communication throughout the department and coordinate regular engagements aligned with key law department priorities.
• Develop and champion the implementation of employee communication and engagement programs, including All Hands meetings, leadership team meetings, offsites, and community involvement events.
• Establish productive relationships and collaborate closely with the People & Culture (P&C) team and Communications on cultural and training initiatives.
• Direct and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely achievement of critical objectives and operational excellence.
All About You
-Proven experience in executive/leadership communications and business reporting, translating strategies to execution plans
-Intellectually curious with an entrepreneurial attitude and a results-driven mindset
- Excellent writing skills, ability to “storyboard” and develop visually compelling presentations with clear logic and structure
- Highly organized and detailed oriented; proficient in managing competing priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to influence with authority - anticipate and proactively address issues that may arise
- Trusted partner who can manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality; the ability to understand unspoken sensitivities and exercise absolute discretion is a must
- Flexible and creative, able to not only adapt but also thrive in a constantly changing environment
