What You Will Do:

Responsibility for implementing VDRA/VPPA and coordinating design change implementation in Manufacturing Engineering team.
1.    Implement VDRA/VPPA before new product or process cut in
“Virtual Design Reviews & Audits” and “Virtual Process Planning for Assembly” are an integrated set of business processes and software tools that support 3D assembly collaboration, manufacturability evaluation, and digital assembly planning across function teams. These capabilities enable teams to validate designs and optimize assembly processes in a virtual environment before physical prototypes or tooling are created.

2.    Coordinate design change implementation within ME team. 
•    Coordinate design change requirement between Engineering and Manufacturing engineering
•    Sort out detail change requirements
•    Monitor implementation progress and cut in plan
•    Follow up open issue to close

Assignments may include but would not be restricted to the following type of work:

  • Implement VPPA checking station by station to identify the assembly process risk before product change or manufacturing releasing 
  • Implement VDRA checking to identify the assembly process risk before new design options launched
  • Coordinate the design change implementation within team, ensure all actions are taken before cutting in
  • Design change onsite validation, to ensure all issues close
  • Plant simulation to support new product introduction or new process introduction. Simulate assembly process to identify the bottleneck station and assess capacity
  • Monitor expense spending status in team

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • Requires major in machinery, good knowledge of assembly process
  • Related working experience over 1 year.
  • Skilled of reading, writing and speaking in English.
  • Be capability of teamwork and challenging work, balanced temperament.
  • Computer application and master general software, such as Word, Excel, Power point and email system.
