Job Description
We are looking for a strong Partner Solution Architect with a Data & AI background to enable new capabilities for our customers to deploy GenAI workloads on AWS. You will drive the development of the GTM plan for building and scaling GenAI on AWS, interacting with customers directly to understand their business problems, and helping them with defining and implementing scalable GenAI solutions to solve them (often via proof-of-concepts). Working with account teams, research scientists, and product teams, you’ll drive model implementations and create new solutions.
We are part of the Worldwide Specialist Organization at AWS, a team of customer obsessed architects and technical business leaders. We work backwards from our customer’s most business-critical problems to build global go-to-market plans and scale innovations across industries and domains.
Key job responsibilities
Partner Advisor: Collaborate with regional teams to enable partners and customers in adopting AWS AI and data services.
Devise Strategy: Partner with regional teams to define and execute engagement strategies for autonomous agent implementations, generative AI adoption, analytics modernization, database migrations, and streaming data architectures across global territories and key partners. Emphasize the increased demand for streaming and messaging expertise driven by the agentic AI backdrop.
Product Collaboration: Stay closely connected to AWS service teams, working with regional partner teams to launch new capabilities across our technology portfolio, enabling partners to quickly adopt innovations in AI agents, generative AI, ML, analytics, databases, and streaming services.
Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership on AI and data solutions, including autonomous agent architectures, generative AI use cases, analytics modernization, database migrations, and streaming data patterns. Create enablement content through AWS Blogs, Whitepapers, reference architectures, and present at AWS events and industry conferences.
Community Engagement: Drive best practices across regions, participate in, and contribute to the worldwide AWS technical community of Solutions Architects and Consultants focused on our AI and data technology stack.
Partner Evangelism: Evangelize partner value propositions internally across global AWS teams and externally with customers, highlighting implementation paths for agentic AI solutions, generative AI applications, data stack modernization, analytics workloads, database migrations, and streaming architectures.
Partner Enablement: Drive partner solutions and go-to-market strategies across regions. Enable partners to build differentiated offerings for agentic AI implementations, generative AI solutions, data analytics transformation, database modernization, and streaming data services.
Architectural Guidance: Provide architectural guidance for successful partner engagements globally, helping them leverage AWS services to win and deliver complex AI and data projects worldwide.
A day in the life
In this role, you will need to be technically capable and credible in your own right, as well as effective in shaping partner solutions involving our AI and data technology portfolio. You will enjoy learning and introducing new technologies to a global team to help them adopt best practices. You will be adept at interacting, communicating, and partnering with other departments within AWS such as our service teams, marketing, the broader Solutions Architect community, as well as representing our work to executive management within the organization.
As the right candidate, you will possess technical skills in agentic AI architecture, generative AI applications, machine learning, data analytics services, database services, and cloud computing as well as customer facing skills at all levels of a partner organization. You should also be able to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. You are a thought leader, and have a hands-on approach that partners are eager to engage with. The ideal candidate can learn new concepts and technologies in a yet-to-be-defined space, is able to communicate effectively with a diverse set of customers or partners across multiple disciplines and can work effectively across internal and external organizations and remote teams.
