Role Summary
The Project Manager supports engineering and cross functional teams in delivering New Product Introduction (NPI) and program milestones on time. The role focuses on project coordination, scheduling, workflow alignment, and ensuring clear communication across teams. Jira and Confluence are key tools used for tracking progress and maintaining documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate project activities to ensure milestones are delivered on time.
- Track schedules, tasks, and dependencies using Jira.
- Maintain documentation and project information in Confluence.
- Support NPI build readiness, material coordination, and workflow alignment.
- Identify and track risks, issues, and action items.
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Provide regular project updates and status reports to stakeholders.
- Communicate upcoming releases and changes to keep the team informed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
- 3–4 years of experience in project or program management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Project Management Tools (Required or Preferred)
- Jira – task tracking, workflows, dashboards
- Confluence – documentation, decision logs, project pages
- MS Project– schedules and timeline management
- Excel / PowerPoint / SharePoint – reporting and tracking
- Microsoft Teams– communication and collaboration
